Having worked major brands such as Pottery Barn and Men's Wearhouse, I lead and consult in digital and print production for high volume eCommerce photo studios. I've directed crews, managed teams, produced studio and on-location shoots, defined roles and responsibilities, delegated tasks, and improved industry standard processes for digital workflows. With great results our teams helped to save millions in annual budgets.
Williams-Sonoma: Pottery Barn Kids, Pottery Barn Teen
From 2021 to 2022, I oversaw all post-production imagery and retouching for digital and print catalogs, editorial and eCommerce for both brands, with the goal to produce high-quality final assets while delivering accurate and consistent product color-matching. I managed both internal and external retouching teams while marking up, reviewing, and retouching over 16,000 assets. Over a 14-month period, our small team fine-tuned processes throughout digital production to maximize budgets, reduce lead times, increase quality, update KPIs, and improve overall efficiency leading to reduced customer returns, all with a 20% budget reduction.
Tailored Brands: Mens Wearhouse, Jos A Bank, K&G, Moores
From 2017 to 2021, I directed all operations for a multi-bay shared-services photo studio for various eCommerce and editorial based shoots for multiple brands. During my tenure production increased by 94% with only a 19% budget increase with improvements in moral, efficiency, process, lead times, image quality, and work environment. Working with our team, we discovered various layers of inefficiencies throughout the product procurement pipeline and eCommerce processes, from merchants to site teams, creative to studio partners, making improvements small and large. I produced all eCommerce-based photo shoots, handled all bookings and contracts, and led our team in updating style and lighting guides. The result was a 25%-30% annual increase in productivity saving over $1.5 million in each fiscal budget.
