Utilizing software intelligence

Created these panoramas on a recent European vacation. All shot using my iPhone 14 (upgrading to the 17 this fall). No tripod. No stitching. No major issues with people or cars or movement. Just click, pan, done.

When Apple came out with the pano mode in iOS's camera app, it was a game-changer for mobile photography. I don't have the details of the software intelligence built into this feature, but I love using it. In the past, creating panoramas took forethought and a ton of post-production processing.

And that's the point. As AI takes hold, applying this intelligence the right way will lead to faster, easier, quality results. It will expand our creativity, shorten lead times, and reduce budgets. It always is.

Especially when in the hands of an expert. ESPECIALLY when in the hands of an EXPERT.
