When Verge says AI hasn't been applied well it's something to look at.
“Put AI in it” has become the new "fix it in Photoshop" and this deep lack of understanding of how AI can be implemented is costing companies in more ways than one.

Successful visual content creation teams are built on proper planning, strategic pertinent information, efficient workflow processes, connected systems with the latest tech, solid professional teams, and last but not least, true human creativity.
I'm not saying AI isn't part of the present and future. It definitely is. It's just not the entire solution, nor a quick one, and it's definitely not a replacement for everything else. A new type of gas won't make your car better if the engine is old and antiquated.
So take a step back. Do the hard work, or hire the right qualified person to lay a solid foundation, and support their efforts. Trust me, you'll see results, save money in the long run, your employees will be happier, and your marketing efforts will improve dramatically. Or, keep nodding your head when someone says AI and watch your budget be gobbled up by bandaids and failed attempts.
More on AI to come.
